My name is Evi. I am a quiet and reserved girl who, since hood, preferred to observe the world from the outside rather than rush into its whirlpool. I have almost no friends - not because I push anyone away, but because it has always been difficult for me to take the first step. It's much easier to lose yourself in headphones, books, or long walks alone than to try to fit into someone else's company.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knows each other, but it was as if I always stood a little apart. I love rainy days, the smell of old books, conversations with myself at night and music in which you can hide. Sometimes I feel like I think too much and live too little.
But lately something has been quietly changing in me. I no longer want to remain that same "invisible" girl. I want to learn to speak louder, look people in the eye without fear, and allow myself to be a little more courageous. I don’t yet know who I will become, but I know for sure who I no longer want to remain - a person who always chooses silence instead of life.
Now I'm slowly but surely learning to come out of my shell. Sometimes it's scary. Sometimes it's exciting. And this, probably, is the beginning of…
